Coil springs

Helical springs wound from round wire on CNC coilers, from fine wire for electronics up to heavy wire for industrial loads. Made to your drawing, or designed from your load and space.

Custom compression spring

Compression springs

Open-coil helical springs that resist being pushed together

The most common spring there is: in buttons, valves, latches, connectors and suspension parts. Ends can be open, closed or ground flat so the spring sits square.

Wire range
Ø0.08–5.0 mm on dedicated compression coilers
Ends
Open, closed, closed & ground
To quote, send
Wire Ø, outer Ø, free length, coils, force at working height
Typical uses
Electronics, automotive, tools, appliances

Tower (conical) spring

Tower / conical springs

Also called cone or tapered springs

The coils shrink in diameter from one end to the other, so they can nest inside each other when compressed. That gives a very short solid height, a load that rises as it compresses, and a strong spring where there isn't room for a thicker wire.

Why choose it
High load in a small space, less buckling
Behaviour
Progressive (variable) stiffness
Typical uses
Shock absorbing, compact mechanisms
To quote, send
Large and small Ø, wire Ø, free and solid height

Extension spring with loop ends

Extension springs

Also called tension springs

Tightly wound springs that pull back when stretched, with hooks or loops at each end to hang or connect a load. Useful wherever a part has to return to its resting position.

Ends
Hooks or loops, in the orientation you specify
Wire range
Fine to heavy wire, depending on the machine
Typical uses
Return mechanisms, doors, tools, equipment
To quote, send
Length inside hooks, force at extended length

Torsion spring with custom legs

Torsion springs

Springs that work by twisting rather than compressing

Legs at each end apply torque around the coil axis, to close a lid, return a lever or hold a hinge. The wind direction, the leg shapes and the angle between the legs are all made to your specification.

Made to spec
Leg length, leg shape, free angle, left or right wind
Example build
SUS304-WPB stainless, −10 to 100 °C service
Typical uses
Hinges, clips, levers, automotive trim
To quote, send
Torque at working angle, leg geometry, wire Ø

Conical battery spring

Battery springs

Contact springs for battery compartments

Small conical or cylindrical springs that hold cells in place and carry current, often paired with a flat contact on the opposite terminal. The finish is chosen for conductivity and corrosion resistance.

Shapes
Conical, cylindrical, spring + plate combos
Finish
Plating to suit conductivity and environment
Typical uses
Remotes, tools, toys, handheld devices
